[Seminar] Prof. Huile Gao, Sichuan University

【2021-09-17】On September 17, 2021, Prof. Huile Gao from West China School of Pharmacy Sichuan University was invited to give a lecture on "Design and Evaluation of Brain Targeted Drug Delivery Systems" at Chongqing University. The presentation was hosted by Prof. Yizhou Li. More than 100 teachers and students from the School of Pharmaceutical Science attended the lecture.

Professor Gao's research interests include the design and evaluation of novel brain-targeted drug delivery systems. He is also interested in design, synthesis and evaluation of environmentally sensitive nano-drug delivery systems. Taking "four aspects of scientific research" proposed by President Jinping Xi as the starting point, Prof. Gao shared a new method developed by his group that the drug could better overcome the barrier and produce high permeability and high retention in the tumor. The teachers and students were highly involved in Q&A part.
