【2022-03-09】In response to the call of the Ministry of Education and Chongqing University and continuous improvement of the quality of MSc training, the Department of pharmaceutical analysis of SPS held a thesis proposal defense for 2020-grade master students on March 09, 2022. Ling Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of SPS, and Yan Hailong, Dean of the College, were invited to attend.

At the beginning of the meeting, Associate Professor Xue Weiwei, head of the department, pointed out that the postgraduate training work should strictly follow the overall requirements of the training program, reflect the advantages and characteristics of SPS, and aim at cultivating high-quality first-class pharmacy talents. Each postgraduate student should strictly require himself from the thesis proposal defense and do everything on the ground.

The 2020-grade master students from Xia Zhining group, Li Yizhou group and Xue Weiwei group defended their thesis proposal in turn. They presented the significance of the topic, research objectives, research contents and research methods. Then, Prof. Xia Zhining, Prof. Yan Hailong, Prof. Li Yizhou, Associate Prof. Xia Yi, Associate Prof. Xue Weiwei, Associate Prof. Wang Min, Li Yangfeng and Zhang Gong pointed out the problems and shortcomings in the research design and the opinions and suggestions for the improvement of the topic, the scientific problems to be solved, the research methods and the technical routes.

Finally, Li Yizhou and Xue Weiwei made concluding remarks, pointing out that the graduate students should follow the requirements of the university and the college and carefully sort out the problems in response to the opinions and suggestions given by the experts, and communicate with their supervisors to improve the thesis proposal.
