Chongqing University's Discipline of Pharmaceutical Science was Approved as a Key Discipline of Chongqing Higher Education Institutions in the 14th Five-Year Plan of Chongqing Municipality

On August 14, the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission announced the "Notice on the Approval of the 14th Five-Year Plan of Municipal Key Disciplines in Higher Education" (Yu Education R&D [2021] No. 8). The school of Pharmaceutical Science was successfully approved as a Key Discipline of Chongqing Higher Education Institutions.

In recent years, the School of Pharmaceutical Science has strictly followed the objective rules of academic course development and benchmarked itself against the first-class pharmacy schools in China for construction. After five years of rapid development, it has been fruitful in discipline construction, scientific research, faculty and other aspects, with obvious construction results. Since its establishment in 2016, the discipline has covered traditional pharmacy secondary disciplines such as natural drug chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacy and biopharmacology, and has formed certain disciplinary characteristics and advantages in research fields such as chemical biology, drug design and synthetic biology.
