Individual/Group Introduction

Professor Zhining Xia (Doctoral supervisor) graduated from the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) with a PhD degree in 1995. He is the recipient of the special government allowance of the State Council. He has been selected into the "Cross-Century Talents" training program of the Ministry of Education, and awarded the "Young Teacher Award of Higher Education" by the Ministry of Education. He has presided over more than 20 projects (including National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Basic Research Planning Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology (973 Program), International Science and Technology Cooperation Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc.). He has published 2 monographs, 3 textbooks, and obtained 8 patents.

Research Interest

1. Active natural products: innovative methods to screen active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicines; improvement and application of modern preparation techniques to obtain active monomeric ingredients from traditional Chinese medicines; molecular, cellular and animal-level evaluation of active ingredients.

2. Pharmaceutical analytical chemistry: research on chiral separation and analysis methods; drug affinity analysis; establishment and application of functional capillary electrophoresis analysis methods.
