1.  Merging synthetic chemistry with glycobiology to explore the relevance of protein glycosylation in cancer and infectious diseases.

2.  Development of novel methodologies for assembling bioactive oligosaccharides and glycoconjugates.

3.  Development of novel small molecular probes for human disease with future theranostic applications.
